Hi,
I'm Milan.
This is my blog.

I'm in my fifth and final year at UVic and will finish my undergraduate degree with a double major in Women Studies and Anthropology. (What the hell am I going to do with that!?)

Well, my true passion lies in starting a career focused on feminist oriented social justice work. Whether or not this plays out is still up for debate. Social justice work can be very exhausting if you don't have the right attitude and great sense of humor. Unfortunately, I don't think I have either.

And yes, I identify as a feminist. And no, I don't hate men. Please. No stereotypes.

Anthropology, on the other hand, was always more of a fun little degree to take up all of my free time on the side. I know many of the Anthropology students at UVic focus their degrees' on archaeology and damn, I have mad respect for those who do. It's just not something I can ever see myself doing.

Anyways, I chose to take a class on the archaeology of death simply because I thought it sounded pretty neat and I needed a final archaeology credit to complete my degree. That said, I am very interested in the course material and look forward to learning a lot of new things.

Bombs away....
